    Posts I Like

Writing “On Leading” a few days ago, I realized how much I miss writing. There is a much longer post in the works about life right now, along with a billion posts I need to do for both TeacherPop and Pass The Chalk. Not to mention posts I need to be getting up for TFA-Ohana (TFA Hawai’i’s new tumblr!) and DCT. #ohmyGodwriting

Still, I’ve made a few decisions about some things I’d like to commit to in the month leading up to my quarter-century-birthday, and I thought I’d get it down on digital paper:

    1. Dive deep into my work. [clearly this will go past my birthday]I am, now more than ever, devoted to Teach For America’s mission and work in edreform. Time to jump in and dream big.
    2. Go gluten-free. This is a trial run, but my body has been feeling blahhhh for quite a bit. Time to try something new (and a little radical). I’ve been doing some reading and discussion with my good friend, Darin, about going sans-gluten. Time to give it a shot.
    3. 2 Drinks a Night. I make less-than-awesome choices when I drink. Drinking is also empty calories. Time to get real about feeling healthy.
    4. Remember what it felt like to be respected and communicated with, and hold on to that when times are hard.“ Direct quote from friend/colleague Anika. Definitely something to hold onto for life.
